Restaurant Froschgrundsee in Roedental

We were only able to pick up food from Corona - that was pretty good.

As always, very good and friendly service. You just feel that you are in good hands here and we are always thrilled with the food. Everyone knows their craft here. In summer it is most beautiful outside, with a view over the lake ... A clear recommendation.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere

High level. Excellent cuisine, limited choice but superbly cooked and served. Local ingredients. Meat and fish dishes highly recommended. Franconian cuisine on weekends. Coffee and cake in the afternoon. Only limited space in the guest room. Pre-order is therefore strongly recommended. When the weather is nice, the terrace with a view of the Froschgrundsee with its curved railway bridge is a real treat.

My wife and I ate here for the first time this evening. In my opinion, the food cannot be improved, from starter to dessert. The waiter Mike was very, very accommodating and was able to advise us perfectly. Not that all of this is enough, we experienced a very great sunset. We will come back for sure.

Here you would like to eat the entire menu up and down. Sooo delicious !! Add to that a wonderful view and excellent service. ??

Wonderful location high above the lake. The ideal starting point for a hike around the SpeicherSee. Nice terrace, super friendly and helpful staff. One can be divided about the "slightly higher prices". If the offer, service and ambience are perfectly justified. A little difficult to reach for wheelchair users without a pushing aid, as the driveway is quite steep. I could drive the car to the door and let my two handicapped people get off at the entrance. We will be back ...

Very tasty restaurant with fine cuisine. The service staff was courteous and extremely polite - you felt comfortable. The steak I ate was perfect and the taste couldn't be better. Cheers to the cook!

Most restaurants in great locations with great views are mediocre to poor. It's different here. In the case of a spontaneous stop without a reservation, we were only offered a table inside, after a short waiting time we were able to sit outside. We had the cold cucumber soup twice, once with and once without the salmon fillet, and then shared the burrata with a tomato and bread salad. Simple assessment: you can't do it better. The staff is terribly friendly and competent, and whoever has prepared this loves the ingredients and the result. Here it is five stars, somewhere else it should be one or maybe more. Great!

Full points. Been in this house again for years. Despite Corona, the visit was a complete success. Very nice reception and very nice service. The food was great all round. We will definitely go back to the Froschgrundsee restaurant to eat

... the taste of the very first cream ... goose breast really tasty, great dumplings, apple red cabbage, which really deserves this name in terms of taste (reminiscent of the old mill in Oberwohlsbach) ... very nice, friendly welcome ... short Waiting times (was also the case with the other tables) ... fixed and good overview of the service staff ... this restaurant is really recommendable ...

Delicious food. The ambiance and the atmosphere are innovative and cozy. Super nice view, really idyllic. Location cheap, but quiet and large parking available. The staff very friendly and competent. We recommend!
